HSV – Aston Villa Preview

When the UEFA Cup drawing was completed, the match between two former European champions (both Aston Villa and Hamburg) looked to be one of the most attractive ties of the group stage. Well, tonight’s the night as HSV welcome the Villans to the ‘Bank this evening. Hoo boy!

I know, I know, but it’s true. Hamburg defeated FC Köln 2:1 at the RhineEnergie Stadion on Sunday–HSV’s first league victory away from home since a 2:1 victory over Cottbus on 5 October(!).
