Hey kids, back in the saddle again following a looooong trip to Central Europe (and no high speed internet) and a nasty bit of emergency dental work (suffice it to say, I love my dog very much and will not *kill* him for knocking out two of my front teeth. . .)

It’s all done but the signing. HSV has agreed to Manchester City’s transfer offer of €20.5M, and now all that’s left is for De Jong’s agent to negotiate a contract for Nigel with the Citizens.

HSV – Aston Villa Preview

When the UEFA Cup drawing was completed, the match between two former European champions (both Aston Villa and Hamburg) looked to be one of the most attractive ties of the group stage. Well, tonight’s the night as HSV welcome the Villans to the ‘Bank this evening. Hoo boy!
