The Mountain Cometh

The “Mountain” is a nickname given to a certain transfer target, who finally inked a five year deal after protracted negotiations over the fee to his former club. I, for one, am pretty keen on seeing this cat in the HSV strip this fall.

A day late on the story, as it’s Independence Day weekend here in the States and I think Evan is on his winter break from school down in Auz, but Ze Roberto did in fact sign a three year deal yesterday.

Transfer Roundup – Yeehaw!

For HSV supporters, the departures of Rafael van der Vaart and Vincent Kompany portended bad things to come. The club directors sold the most talented players on the side in the span of 17 days and there was, at the time, nothing to show for it. Fast forward a week (since Kompany’s sale) and things are looking up.
